Terms of Service

Last updated: March 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Obereg website, joining our waitlist, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our service.

2. Description of Service & Third-Party Data

Obereg is an AI-powered brand reputation monitoring platform that aggregates and analyzes publicly available data from third-party communities (including but not limited to Reddit, Hacker News, and X).

  • We do not own, control, or take responsibility for the content generated on these third-party platforms.
  • Features, pricing, and integrations are subject to change as our product evolves.

3. Accounts and Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee immediate access. When granted access, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (managed securely via Google Firebase) and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payments and Refunds

When Obereg transitions to a paid subscription model, services are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Obereg to:

  • Harass, stalk, doxx, or harm any individual or group.
  • Engage in illegal activity or violate the Terms of Service of the third-party platforms we monitor.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to copy our proprietary AI models and infrastructure.
  • Resell or white-label our data without an explicit Enterprise agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, code, and branding within the Obereg platform are the exclusive property of Obereg and are protected by international copyright laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Obereg is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We use advanced AI to monitor brand sentiment, but we do not guarantee that the service will catch 100% of mentions, be completely error-free, or be uninterrupted. Obereg is an analytical tool, not a PR insurance policy. We do not warrant that our alerts will prevent reputational damage.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obereg and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or brand value) arising out of your use of the service.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to Obereg in the one (1) month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, EU, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Poland.
